About Us

We're a husband and wife or more importantly a mammy and daddy team!! We have a beautiful little girl who is really the brain child behind babybibs.ie. Our little girl was a real drooler and we quickly realised the importance of a good quality baby bib.

*From September 2020 we are changing the cotton used in the bibs from natural cotton to organic cotton. As a small business we want to be as sustainable as possible. All the cotton used will be GOTS and OEKO-TEX certified.

What is Oeko-Tex 100?

Natural Cotton reduces allergic reactions and rashes because there are no traces of the harmful pesticides used to grow conventional cotton in the actual fibres. These chemicals could be absorbed through your baby’s skin and can cause allergies, rashes and respiratory problems. The bibs are double layered with a layer of fleece on the back to ensure that your baby's chest is kept dry. When designing our bibs we knew that it was important that the bib needed to keep it's shape after washing. This was something that frustrated us (or mammy more so!!) When our little girl was little. It would drive me mad when the bibs we used would curl up. Our bibs are made from pre-washed Natural cotton to ensure that they keep there shape wash after wash.

As of June 2019 all packaging used to send out all our orders to our customers will be biodegradable. It is really important to us as a small business that we do our part in trying to combat climate change.

When we started babybibs.ie we knew we wanted to partner with an Irish children's charity. It was an easy decision for us, we choose LauraLynn. We'd always admired the amazing work they do for children with life limiting conditions and their families. We have continued to support LauraLynn, 10% from all our sales goes direct to this amazing cause.
